　　A-level考试什么时候开始和结束?

　　往年：英国A-level考试开始时间跟GCSE差不多，也就是5月的第二周开始(The UK A-level test starts at about the same time as GCSE, that is, in the second week of May)，但是A-level考试季比GCSE长一些，一般6月末结束。具体什么时间考完，也是看你选择了什么科目。成绩8月中旬公布。

　　21年：英格兰A-level考试时间是6月7日(星期一)至7月2日(星期五)。学生可以在8月24日(星期五)收到成绩，比GCSE早三天。

　　国际考试局：不变，参照上面GCSE介绍中给出的国际考试局信息。

　　学生应该什么时候开始学习A-level?

　　英国：英国学生Y12开始学习A-level课程，学习时间两年，Y13开学递交大学申请，夏季参加最终考试(British students begin to study A-level course in Y12 for two years, submit university application at the beginning of Y13, and take the final exam in summer)。

　　国内：国内学生一般是高二高三学A-level，16岁左右开始学习(Domestic students usually study A-level in senior two and senior three, and begin to study around the age of 16)，也有高一高二学AS，高三学A2的，就是高一第一年只学AS不考试，可见体制内课程转A-level是比较灵活的。

　　尽管绝大多数A-level老师争取在考试季开始前的1-2个月教完课程(Although most A-level teachers strive to finish the course 1-2 months before the beginning of the examination season)，为学生留出足够的复习时间，但由于一些科目的特殊性，内容量特别大，想要做到这一点是不太可能的。

　　28日，英国大臣Michael Gove确认，下周GCSE与A-level学生就要返校了(British Minister Michael gove confirmed that GCSE and A-level students will return to school next week)，并表示2021年A-level考试“绝对”会继续进行。

　　不过这次是错峰开学，Year11和13年级以及关键工作者的孩子们(Children in grades 11 and 13 and key workers)，1月4日开学，其他学生一周后再返校。
