01“优秀学生可以自信地谈论和写出经济理论怎样跟现实世界连接的。”
优秀学生总是使用例子!
例子是analysis和evaluation中，支撑论点的关键部分。
不一定需要大量数据，但是在笔记中添加一点例子会很不一样(It doesn‘t have to be a lot of data, but it‘s different to add a few examples to your notes)。
02“努力学习，并对这个科目真正感兴趣。”
经常留意那些能给你提供背景的文章、微博、电视新闻，添加到课堂笔记中(Always pay attention to articles, microblogs and TV news that can provide you with background and add them to class notes)，A-level复习是一场马拉松而不是短跑!
03“花时间研究与大纲相关的当前经济发展趋势。”
有助于在不同课题之间建立联系，尤其是宏观和微观概括性论述的地方(Especially the general discussion of macro and micro)。
04“渴望钻研更深的东西，总是不断地提出问题。”
Evaluation可以通过多写作培养。可以下载mark scheme和examiner report参考。
A-level考试中，老师希望看到的是深度而不是广度，一道题目可能会提到“using an industry”或“using a country of your choice” ，那么就要成为感兴趣的行业或国家的小小专家(Then you should become a small expert in the industry or country you are interested in)。
05“充分理解问题的具体要求。”
清楚试题中需要哪些命令词，比如 “examine” 代表必须analyse and evaluate。
分析应紧跟观点，不要留到essay最后才进行(The analysis should be closely followed by the point of view, and should not be left to essay last)。
06“结构简洁清晰，回答切题。”
多读、多看、多听的学生，有更多的话要说!有助于理性判断，获得高分(There‘s more to say! Contribute to rational judgment and get high scores)。
07“知道如何通过图表来回答问题。”
经济学图表贯穿于你们所有的试卷(Economic charts run through all your test papers)，可能要求你会读懂，也可能要求你画出，当答案中包含图表的时候，也要画下来。
08“保持一致性，大题小题都要重视。”
简答题需要一个简短、集中、准确的答案，一定一定不要长篇大论(Short answer questions need a short, focused and accurate answer. You must not talk at length)。
09“答案联系现实世界，使用文本中的数字和摘选或者自己的知识。”
Data response应用丢分，很多是因为学生没有引用题目中提供的数据表格等。
10“能够使用不同的政治和理论角度进行evaluate。”
注意不同学派的经济学观点，添加到自己的经济学理解中(Pay attention to the economic views of different schools and add them to your own economic understanding)，这一点对高分非常有用。
11“以成为经济学家为目标。”
通过对当代问题和历史数据/事件的不断阅读(Through continuous reading of contemporary issues and historical data / events)，运用经济学来彻底分析给定的问题。
