小伙伴们共同关心的一个话题就是A-level哪些科目最受重视?官方的说法是，给所有的A-level科目同等的地位，当转换为UCAS分数是一样的，有时大学根据课程要求特定的科目组合。
事实上，精英学校的录取，偏爱“硬”科目，有少数学校将部分科目列入“黑名单”。
但说“黑名单”有点太严重，有时一个或与其他学科共同申请的名单上的两个科目，大学会接受。如果你想申请一所学校，听听过来人的意见是好，但不一定适用于其他大学，因为不同的招生人员的喜好不同。
选择4门科学科目确实看起来很有知识含量，可是如果想历史专业或申请英语专业，那么它们就没有任何帮助了。要看这个专业“重视”的是什么。一般选择facilitating subjects，也就是英语、科学、历史这种科目不会出错，也还是要具体情况具体分析。
