Alevel辅导：重要!曼大承认A-level中文，但是经管类专业有2个前提!很多学有余力的小伙伴，都会考一考A-level中文(Many students who have spare power will take the A-level Chinese test)，but申请时有些大学接受，也有一些不接受，今天我们来重点说一说曼大对中文(Chinese)学科的规定。

曼大接受A-level中文申请
曼大入学要求信息页明确写着，对于A-level母语(对我们来说是中文)，将与其他科目在同等基础上考虑(Will be considered on the same basis as other subjects)。

曼大经管类承认中文，但是需要2个条件!
前面说到曼大接受A-level中文，但当你点开经管类专业入学要求的时候(As mentioned earlier, Manta accepts A-level Chinese, but when you click on the admission requirements for economics and management majors)，有的专业又会有一条新的附加条件——“接受A-level母语科目，前提是与其他学科是同一考试季考出。数学、进阶数学，加母语申请不可。”
小渊针对这个问题，向曼大招生部门进行了详细确认，得出的结论是：
1. 中文学科需要和其他学科在一个考试季考出。
2.需要在提交UCAS填写时列出来，且考试时间要和其他科目是一个考试季(The examination time should be the same as other subjects)。
就第一点举例来说，下面这种情况不被认可，因为中文和其他三科不是一个考试季。

目前来看，曼大比其他接受AL中文的大学特殊一点，经济与金融等众多专业接受A-level中文的申请(Manda is a little more special than other universities that accept al Chinese. Many majors such as economics and finance accept the application of A-level Chinese,)，但需要在这两个前提下。如果不满足这两个条件的中文成绩，应该是不能认可，请各位同学一定要加以注意!

曼大其他专业对AL中文的态度
我们也查询了曼大很多其他专业的招生页面，包括教育、法律、数学、计算机、生物等，在官网requirement下没有AL native language相关词条(Including education, law, mathematics, computer, biology, etc. there is no entry related to Al native language under the official website requirement)，目前只是经管类相关专业有这个中文的规定;其他专业是否如此，还需要查看官网以及与学校相应院系招生官确认。
我们再来看看曼大中文专业Chinese Studies，招生页介绍这门专业是为入学时中文汉语水平在入门至大约A-level水平的学生设计的(It is designed for students whose Chinese level is at the entry level to about A-level at the time of admission)，不适合以中文为第一语言的学生。大家申请时还需谨慎。
A-level中文属于锦上添花的科目，完全依赖其作为第三门申请科目有些冒险，要看学校和专业是否接受(Relying entirely on it as the third application subject is risky, depending on whether the school and major accept it)，但是作为第四门或第五门学科考一考来增加申请优势，还是比较有价值的!

近8万人申请，曼大成绩要求A*A*A-BBC
近来的王爱曼华让人高攀不起，申请学生的成绩也随着分数膨胀而水涨船高(The scores of the applicants also rose with the expansion of the scores)，大多都有几个A*来争夺热门专业的录取。
目前曼大在校生4万多人，人丁兴旺。
2020年有79,925人通过UCAS申请曼大本科课程。
本科申请需提交三门A-level，成绩需达到A*A*A-BBC;IB申请需达到38-30分;GCSE英语和数学C或4;雅思6.0–7.0，多数热门专业6.5。
接受重考申请，但不接受General Studies科目(Applications for re examination are accepted, but General Studies subjects are not accepted)，不要求AS不过医学和牙科专业除外。
曼大热门专业包括商科、科学、工程、医学、计算机、经济、法律等(Business, science, engineering, medicine, computer, economy, law, etc)，每年申请人数爆棚。
