Alevel在英国认可度高于AP，AP在美国认可度高于英国(Alevel is more recognized in the UK than AP, and AP is more recognized in the US than in the UK!)

　　1、A-level相对AP来说，对偏科的学生更友好一些

　　A-Level 没有必修课程，这对明显偏科的学生更有优势(There is no compulsory course, which has more advantages for students who obviously prefer subjects)，Alevel 的学生可以根据个人兴趣及特长选择 3-4 门功课作为主攻方向。

　　而且Alevel课程与中国教育类似，同学们适应起来相对容易(Similar to Chinese education, it is relatively easy for students to adapt)，面对选择去美国的学生，有些Alevel与SAT考试科目相似，对顺利通过SAT考试非常有帮助。

　　2、AP更适合“学霸型”与已经明确大学学科的学生

　　AP是美国大学的先修课，学习难度当然要大的多，所以同学们修的是大学的内容(Of course, learning is much more difficult, so the students are studying the contents of the University)，比如说到AP数学，学的是statistics和Calculus，就是统计学和微积分。

　　另外，学AP是可以抵扣大学的学分，同学们之所以要抵扣这个学分，肯定是与你所申请的专业相关(The reason why students want to deduct this credit must be related to the major you applied for)，比如说，一位同学要学Media的，结果他学了一个AP物理C，这种意义就不大了，所以学AP是与所选的大学和专业是相关的。

　　3、学AP和Alevel，要看你之后打算申请那个国家

　　如果你主要目标是北美大学，并且准备全面发展，提前为大学课程准备，AP是你的最优选择(Prepare for all-round development and prepare for college courses in advance. AP is your best choice)，另外，未来想要攻读理工科专业的学生，AP课程是有着明显的优势。

　　如果你偏爱英联邦名校，有充足的备考时间，但有轻微的偏科倾向，建议你选择A-Level。

　　Alevel 每科的考试以单元为单位独立开考，单独计分，学生可一次性报考所有单元(The examination of each subject is conducted independently in units and scored separately. Students can apply for all units at one time)，也可根据自身学习情况分批次报考。每门课程均有多次考试机会。学生可根据自身情况进行单科突破。

　　尤其突出的一点，学生如果在此次考试中发挥不好，可选择重考(If students do not play well in this exam, they can choose to retake it)，成绩以最好的一次计算，明显地区别于国内高考的“一考定终身”!
