PTE学术考试和雅思考试之间的分数一致性是基于2009年进行的一项关联研究(于2011年发布)。在对于近几年收集的PTE和雅思数据进行研究之后(After studying the PTE and IELTS data collected in recent years)，PTE团队对之前的一致性表格进行了更新。
该研究基于从考生中收集分数数据，每个考生都在短时间内同时参加了PTE和雅思2项考试(The study is based on the score data collected from candidates. Each candidate participated in both PTE and IELTS in a short time)， 调查对象分别是基于以下特征的PTE考生代表(性别、年龄、母语和国籍)。PTE Academic考试仍然是最准确和最可靠的学术英语考试(PTE academic remains the most accurate and reliable academic English test)，目前PTE Academic的考试结构和评分标准没有变化。
PTE分数调整
PTE考试通常用于入学考试评估(The PTE test is usually used for entrance examination evaluation.)，本次PTE团队对分数一致性进行了最小程度的更新和调整。调查发现：
雅思7.5分及以上，与同一分数等级的PTE学术成绩相比(Compared with PTE academic scores at the same score level)，雅思对考生要求的分数要高一些;
雅思6.5分及以下，与同一分数等级的PTE学术成绩相比(Compared with PTE academic scores at the same score level)，雅思对考生要求的分数要低一些。
基于以上研究，PTE团队对PTE分数进行了些许调整，具体如下：
雅思0~4分，由原来对应的PTE 29分以下(From the original corresponding PTE below 29 points)，调整为PTE 22分以下;
雅思4.5分，由原来对应的PTE 30分(30 points from the original corresponding PTE)，下降为PTE 23分;
雅思5分，由原来对应的PTE 36分(36 points from the original corresponding PTE)，下降为PTE 29分;
雅思5.5分，由原来对应的PTE 42分(42 points from the original corresponding PTE)，下降为PTE 36分，降幅最大;
雅思6分，由原来对应的PTE 50分(50 points from the original corresponding PTE)，下降为PTE 46分;
雅思6.5分，由原来对应的PTE 58分(58 points from the original corresponding PTE)，下降为PTE 56分;
雅思7分开始将PTE分数下降调整为分数提高，由原来对应的PTE 65分(65 points from the original corresponding PTE)，调整为PTE 66分;
雅思7.5分，由原来对应的PTE 73分(73 points from the original corresponding PTE)，上涨为PTE 76分;
雅思8分，由原来对应的PTE 79分(79 points from the original corresponding PTE)，上调为PTE 84分;
雅思8.5分，由原来对应的PTE 83分(83 points from the original corresponding PTE)，上涨为PTE 89分，涨幅最明显。
