IGCSE数学(A*/9分率)
无论正常考试还是评估成绩，牛津AQA都是A*/9分率最高的考试局(Oxford AQA has the highest a * / 9 score in both normal examinations and assessment results)，近一半的考生能够拿到最高等级9。爱德思和CIE整体相差不大。
IGCSE进阶纯数(A*/9分率)
爱德思考试局开设进阶纯数，CIE考试局提供附加数学(Advanced pure numbers are offered by EDX and additional mathematics are provided by CIE)，这两门课是数学能力较强或A-level打算学习进阶数学、数学等科目的学生在普通数学以外会额外选修的课程。
2019和2020两年，CIE附加数学的高分率均高于爱德思进阶纯数(The high scores of mathematics are higher than that of advanced pure numbers)，通过纵向比较，也可以看到评估成绩明显高于正常年份的考试成绩。
IGCSE物理(A*/9分率)
无论正常考试还是评估成绩，A*/9分率最高的都是CIE考试局，相比之下牛津AQA的高分率是最低的，尤其2019年拿到9分的学生比例只有3.2%(In particular, the proportion of students who get 9 points in 2019 is only 3.2%)，CIE连续两年略高于爱德思，但相差不大。
IGCSE生物(A*/9分率)
爱德思考试局高分比例连续两年超过CIE和牛津AQA。爱德思略高于CIE，牛津AQA高分率较低(Edwards is slightly higher than CIE, and the high score of Oxford AQA is low)，2019年只有0.5%。
IGCSE化学(A*/9分率)
正常考试年份，爱德思是A*率最高的考试局(In normal examination years, Edes has the highest a * rate)，评估成绩年份，CIE以微弱优势赢过爱德思，两大考试局高分比例仅相差0.01%。
IGCSE经济(A*/9分率)
牛津AQA不提供IG阶段的经济学科目(Oxford AQA does not offer economics subjects at the Ig stage)，我们主要来看下爱德思和CIE考试局的高分率对比。
正常考试年份，CIE考试局A*率要明显高于爱德思(The a * rate of CIE Examination Bureau is significantly higher than that of Edes)。评估成绩下，两大考试局相差不大，CIE以0.04%的微弱优势胜出。
通过热门科目的A*率对比，我们可以看到，CIE与爱德思几乎难分伯仲，两大考试局高分学生比例整体相差并不大(We can see that CIE and Edes are almost equal, and the overall difference in the proportion of high score students in the two examination bureaus is not large)，尤其是化学和经济，在评估成绩体系下，二者基本持平。
牛津AQA考试局数学科目的高分率以显著优势超过了爱德思和CIE(The high score rate has a significant advantage over Edes and CIE)，而其余科目则明显低于其他两大考试局，纵向对比可以看到，各考试局评估体系下的A*比例要远高于正常考试年份。
数学、进阶纯数、物理、生物、化学、经济是IGCSE和A-level最关键的几门学科(Mathematics, advanced pure number, physics, biology, chemistry and economy are the most key disciplines of IGCSE and A-level)。大学想申请理工类学科A-level数学和科学基本是必修，申请商科类学科，A-level经济也是十分推荐的实用科目。
而作为A-level的预备课程，IG阶段奠定一个扎实的学科基础，后续学习势必会轻松不少。
IGCSE阶段涉及到的知识内容不深，但重在广度，学科知识较为琐碎(The content of knowledge is not deep, but it focuses on breadth, and the subject knowledge is relatively trivial)，且前后关联性不强，需要学生在学习期间定期复习巩固。
生物、物理、化学、经济等学科包含很多专业词汇，明确专业词汇的含义对知识理解和应用起着关键作用，A-level学科知识在IG基础上进一步加深和细化，课程知识和考试难度都进一步加大(The course knowledge and examination difficulty are further increased)，A-level考题不会像IG那么直接，很多问题比较绕弯，需要学生有更强的应用能力。
